The Cincinnati Business Courier’s annual Forty Under 40 list is a who’s who of the Queen City’s most innovative young professionals. Behind each name is a resume that speaks not only to great career achievements but to the character that drives missions forward.

This year, two alums—Eric Loftus ’04 and Nathaniel Sizemore ’04—are among the list’s select 40 honorees.

“Being named to the Cincinnati Business Courier’s Forty Under 40 list is a tremendous honor,” says Loftus. “The recognition is less about me and more about the people who have poured into me like family, mentors, colleagues, and community.”

“This recognition means a lot to me, but ultimately God gets all the credit, glory, and honor,” adds Sizemore.

Loftus, Partner and Financial Advisor at Wealth Dimensions, and Sizemore, Senior Vice President & General Counsel at Sizemore & Company, share more than just a CHCA graduating class: Both are husbands, fathers, and values-driven professionals. Investing in relationships with others—be it clients, friends, mentors, or mentees—and pursuing passions have been key to growing professionally, personally, and spiritually. That combined with a foundation of excellence laid at CHCA has shaped the way each approaches work and play.

“The high academic standards coupled with the opportunity to compete in athletics and participate in the arts, helped me develop a well-roundedness that I still carry today,” says Sizemore.

“The environment encouraged both academic rigor and personal growth, teaching me that success isn’t just about achievement but also about the way you impact others,” Loftus notes.

Beyond the workday, Loftus serves on the boards of local nonprofits between his time on the pitch as both a coach and player. Sizemore has penned two novels—Deadly Division and The Cohort—that marry his legal experience with his gift for writing.

For students eager to one day become a Forty Under 40 awardee, the two offer this advice: lean into faith.

“Pursue excellence in everything you do, and let God take care of the rest –Philippians 4:13,” says Sizemore.

“Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone, ask good questions, and seek mentors who can guide you,” Loftus says. “Most importantly, remember that your faith and character will define you far more than your resume ever will.”
