When CHCA’s Founding Families first gathered to pray over the vision of a Christ-centered school, they approached God in a spirit of generosity and faith.  

They believed in the Lord’s power. They knew that He would guide them. And they boldly committed to following His call to establish an academically excellent school, rooted in Christ.  

More than 35 years later, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy is a testament to the power of trusting God’s plan. From one building to four sprawling campuses, a handful of grades to a robust Pre-K–Grade 12 experience, CHCA has become an esteemed institution in the tristate and beyond. Steady growth has only elevated the caliber of excellence in curriculum and programs, with  students encountering a myriad of opportunities to grow intellectually and socially—all while glorifying God. 

Today, we seek ways to honor the legacy of our Founding Families and others whose priceless generosity will continue to transform lives through Christian education for generations to come. That’s why we’ve created the 1989 Legacy Society.  

What is the 1989 Legacy Society? 

Established in 2025, the 1989 Legacy Society recognizes individuals and families who have made the generous decision to include CHCA in their estate or long-term charitable plans.  

Whether naming CHCA as a beneficiary of a retirement account or life insurance policy, including the school in a will or trust, designating a percentage of an estate to CHCA, or other means, Society members each share a commitment to preserving and furthering the school’s mission: to prepare students intellectually and spiritually for success in higher education and beyond, and to impact and influence the world according to their unique gifts and talents. 

Some members have felt called to align their giving with programs and opportunities that reflect their personal passions and priorities. By directing their legacy gift to scholarships, the Arts, Athletics, spiritual development, or other area of interest, members support what is most important to them while creating life changing experiences for students who share the same passions. Others have decided to leave gifts unrestricted, choosing instead for CHCA to determine how their legacy can impact the school’s greatest area of need.  

With this act of generosity, Society members have stepped out in faith to bridge the gap between CHCA’s founding vision and its boundless future. 

Impacting the Future, Today 

Those who leave a legacy gift to CHCA and join the 1989 Legacy Society become part of a storied history marked by faithfulness and generosity. They boldly steward the blessings God has given to them and reflect a heart for Christian education.  

Whether CHCA is a newer part of your story or you have been around the community for years, it’s never too early to consider how you can continue to make a difference for the Kingdom past your lifetime. Legacy gifts of any size will fuel the long-term strength and stability of CHCA’s world-class, Christ-centered education. And students will be blessed because of your generosity.
