Nomination Guidelines

Each year we will induct up to three new honorees into the CHCA Fine Arts Hall of Fame. Anyone in the CHCA community is welcome to nominate individuals. Our committee will evaluate nominations based on the following criteria:

Student-Artists
  • Student-artists will be selected based on their Arts involvement, accomplishments, contributions, and leadership during their high school career at CHCA, whether in dance, instrumental and vocal music, theatre, or visual arts. Post-high school artistic accomplishments will be considered but are of secondary importance when evaluating achievements.
  • Student-artists must have graduated from CHCA 10 years or more before the nomination date. Nominations for student-artists who have graduated within the last nine years will not be considered.
  • Student-artists’ character—both past and present—will be considered in the evaluation. A character endorsement from an administrator, Arts director, teacher, and/or director will be required.
Retired Faculty & Directors
  • Faculty and directors are not eligible for the Hall of Fame during their CHCA career. They must be retired before consideration.

  • Faculty and directors will be selected based on the contributions to their Arts area during their tenure at CHCA.

  • Faculty and directors’ character will also be considered in the evaluation, and a character endorsement will be necessary from an administrator, Arts director, and/or former student-artist.

Community Supporters
  • Community supporters will be selected based on their special contributions to the Arts program. This may include former Friends of Fine Arts (FOFA) members or board members and volunteers.

  • Community supporters must have been involved in the Arts for at least five years before consideration.

Please note: Parents cannot nominate their own child(ren) for the Fine Arts Hall of Fame.
