Innate Talent, Lifelong Creativity

We were made to be creative. Through the performing and visual arts, our students nurture and refine their God-given talent for artistic expression so they can bring their stories to life.

Innate Talent, Lifelong Creativity

At CHCA, the arts are a vital part of each student’s journey. From our littlest creatives in Pre-K to our most advanced artists, we intentionally seek innovative ways to engage students and provide opportunities to experience the arts at all levels.

Our programs invite each student to create, express, and grow in their artistry–so they can become who they were made to be.

Early Opportunities

Arts instruction starts young and advances in content and technique.

Faith Through Creativity

Students learn to use their talents to reflect beauty, share truth, and glorify God.

Professional Experience

Local gallery displays, community-wide performances, and appearances at national competitions take skills to the next level.

Arts Opportunities

Hone your gifts or try something you’ve never done before. Whether on stage, in the studio, or behind the scenes, CHCA’s arts programs are a big part of life here — helping you find your people, your passions, and new ways to bring your God-given creativity to life.

Upper School

By Upper School, CHCA students are honing the gifts they’ve been developing for years — and discovering just how far those gifts can take them. Whether on stage, in the studio, or behind the scenes, students refine their craft through advanced training, full-scale productions, and performance opportunities that stretch their skill and their faith, preparing many for artistic pursuits well beyond graduation.

Lower School

From their very first song, scene, or step, Lower School students discover that God has given them a voice — and CHCA’s Performing Arts program helps them find it. Through music, choir, theatre, and dance, young learners build confidence and technical skill while exploring the joy of creative expression alongside teachers who know and encourage them by name.

Early Learning

From their very first song, scene, or step, Early Learning students discover that God has given them a voice — and CHCA’s Performing Arts program helps them find it. Through music, movement, and imaginative play, young learners build confidence and coordination while exploring the joy of creative expression alongside teachers who know and encourage them by name.

Upper School

Upper School artists dive deep into media, concept development, and personal style. Through studio classes and advanced electives, students refine their technique while building a strong portfolio to carry them into their next chapter.

Each spring, the AP Gallery spotlights work from CHCA’s most advanced artists. Held in a professional exhibit space, the show invites the CHCA community to engage with these students’ creativity, vision, and personal voice.

Lower School

Lower School artists build technique while discovering that art is a powerful way to communicate. Through studying different mediums and artists, students grow in confidence and find genuine joy in what they create.

Early Learning

Little hands become little artists as they explore color, shape, and storytelling through hands-on creativity. Art is woven into each day at CHCA, nurturing curiosity, fine motor skills, and the confidence to discover the world God made.

What is ArtBeat?

ArtBeat is CHCA’s day-long celebration of the arts. Featuring musical, theatrical, and dance performances; more than 1,400 works of art on display; hands-on-art tables; professional and student artist demonstrations; delicious lunch and snacks; baked goods; and more, this fine arts festival celebrates students at every campus, from preschool through grade 12. A high-energy, family-friendly event, ArtBeat will inspire you to uncover your inner artist.

Arts Facilities

From the stage to the studio, our students are immersed in spaces where their artistry is cultivated and celebrated. At each of our campuses, we’ve designed rooms that spark creativity and ignite curiosity, giving artists room to express and share their stories.

Young learners enjoy vibrant, colorful studios, like the Atelier, designed to spark their earliest talents. More advanced performers and artists sharpen their craft in professional settings, like the Lindner Theater, and invite the CHCA community to share in their passion for the arts.
