Theological Integration
As a multidenominational school, we each come from different traditions that impact our view and interpretation of God’s Word. Our educators are specially trained to integrate academically rigorous curriculum with five key theological “Big Ideas” that are central to the story of Scripture, regardless of denominational interpretations.
All humans have a longing and hope for something greater.
God is Creator.
All creation is broken because of the Fall, when sin entered the world.
Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection provide redemption and restoration to what is broken.
We can be a part of God’s restoration through our vocation to bring shalom to a broken world.
Based on Cornelius Plantinga Jr.’s Engaging God’s World: A Christian Vision of Faith, Learning, and Living, these “Big Ideas” encourage students, in age-appropriate ways, to see every course of study through the lens of Christ so they may grow in theological understanding as they become engaged critical thinkers.
