Mona’s passion for the arts and innate creativity have informed decades of arts leadership at CHCA. Originally from Peoria, Illinois, she studied Business at Illinois Central College and Arts Administration at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. What began as a parent volunteer role in the arts quickly grew into a calling—one that built and has shaped CHCA’s vibrant Arts program. Since joining the CHCA community, she has remained committed to expanding opportunities for students to express and develop their God-given artistic gifts. A tireless advocate for the arts, Mona has helped shape programs that celebrate student creativity—most notably by envisioning and leading ArtBeat, CHCA’s annual fine arts festival, for over 25 years. She finds great joy in serving students and families through the work she loves.
